A Little Tutorial...

I thought I would share my `Tutorial`
I created for the FISKARS Blog.
So here goes....

Card with box and Necklace

Materials

Fiskars Tools all available from HERE
Border punch (scalloped lace) Shape boss. (Butterfly template) Scissors
Shape cutter (mini starter set)
Shapcutter clear Mat

Other Materials
Button. Craft string, Ribbon all from craft Box.
Beads and jewellery findings,
2 jump rings 2,eye pins,Artisan jewellery kit
Cuttlebug .Cuttlebug embossing folder (stylized flower)
CO-Ordinations cardstock.
3d Foam pads.Double sided tape.

Firstly prepare all pieces needed to decorate your box and card.
Cut out two pieces of card score cut emboss and assemble as shown in photo.

Cut out all desired butterflies layer altogether using 3d foam pads.

Take a strip of card and use water punch to create border all down side one edge.
Add double sided tape to the back of your border strip. (As shown)


Now that all the pieces are assembled you can start to assemble your creations.

For the card.
Measure and cut a strip of cardstock to fit the centre of your card. Emboss with your folder and place along the middle face of your card with securing with tape.
Measure cut and add border along the bottom edge of your card.
Add ribbon along front face of card and tie.
With all the assembled pieces of the larger of the two butterflies secure it
to the top of your card
(As shown in the completed photo.)
Thread a button with your string and stick in the centre of butterfly to complete.
Use txt of your choice to suit the Occasion for the finished card.
I left my message off my final card I can add the text of my choice when I need a card to send.

For the Box
Thread with string through the middle of your button and place in the middles of your small cut out butterlfy.
Add the punched out border strip around the top edge of lid to decorate.
Assemble the box together!!!
Wrap ribbon around the box add butterfly to the centre securing
with 3d foam pads to complete.

For the Necklace

Take your eye-pin thread all desired beads through + add jump ring.
Finally thread through the string to complete
your easy gift to go inside your completed box.
There you have your matching gift and Card
I do hope this Tutorial is easily understandable to you.

Hi Terrie, your tutorial is fantastic and the gift set so beautiful. I found the tutorial very easy to follow, it was lovely to have the pictures with everything you needed laid out and with the instructions on them too. Great job on it!
