Hi everyone well I hope you all had a lovely Christmas.We had a nice time spent with the family and the children who loved every bit of it. They even saw Santa!! which made it more magical and exciting.Don't ya just love the magic of Christmas with the little ones.Well it`s been all go here at The Baileys.lots going on which I will probably share with you all later,but amongst all that we have lots of Birthdays.

Hi Everyone Just want to Thank all those of you who have given me Inspiration left comments or visit my blog this Year ,I hope I gave a little Inspiration back:)

It`s time for me to reflect on the Year gone by!!!

I know I have my own daily troubles to deal with which I try and keep personal and I now know 2012 is going to be a trying time for our family but wev`e been through lots we can face this full on.

I remember those who are on their own ,those in hospitals ,those who are troubled the elderly and those who are less fortunuate than me.

I consider myself rich in love as I am are blessed with a beautiful family and am grateful for what I have not what I havent.I havent got a lot but I have a lot more than others.

Here are a few last minute tags created for those little ones.

Hi Everyone a little later than antisipated but nontheless I am here to share with you all a card a gift box,and matching tag created for a friend for christmas.Well this one to me is not just any gift ,it is a special one .This one represents most of me I hope! and I hope when the person gets it sees that in it.I cannot say who it is for because then she will know before she recieves it !as I will be posting it Monday and she reads my blog ,so if she reads it before then she will know,you get me?. This person is a special person who I truly respect .I met her right from the begining when I started crafting!!! Oh the powers of the internet.I have to thank her for always being so supportive of me! I haven`t actually met her in person but she is my main Inspiration for sure..I know she understands me as I think I do her so if your reading this late next week and have your gift and know that its you! Today I would like to share two cards with you all !What about those little ones in our lifes?

These were created for the little special people in my life:)I have created one for our our Grandson and one for our Grandaughter using the fabulous Mini Rudolph stamps

and FREE vintage star papers from the very fabulous Liz Armstrong at PINKPETTICOAT which are just perfectly suited for them.Arnt they the cutest ?

These images were coloured using my Promarkers then a little sparkle added and teamed up with the new Vintage stars papers which suited them to a t! I add a little ribbon button and twine to finish.

For both cards I made matching envelopes and inserts in a slightly lighter colour using those vintage stars papers too:)they look fabulous I must say.
Perfect for the kids..sorted! just what I like.

Hi Everyone from me on a very blowy cold and windy part of the world.Walney Island.They should have named it Windy Island I think as thats all it seems to do here! Anyways hope the weathers not to bad where you all are and you are all well.I havent been around for a couple of days for various reasons but I know you all totally understand !Crickey is it my age? or do the Years really fly by as we get older?Now I am older I am begining to believe all as my Mother and Father told us as kids.You all know THE KINDA THINGS OUR PARENTS SAID,`Enjoy yourself when your younger cos when your past 21 the Years start to fly by.Ok I know I am more than double past that age..which dosent seem two minutes ago!Yeah right.I wish.lol.I mean come on it`s only four weeks till Christmas again!Time to dust the decs off soon and start preparingthe tree but until then I`ll grace yousome with more of my Christmas cards.You see just when I thought I had complete all my cards.hmm I remembered the couple down the road ,& Mr and Mrs.Lewis etc.you know how that one goes too..lol. I would love to share a gift box and card I created using the beautiful new Tiny Sentiment downloads and pretty hydrangeas Papers I recieved from the very fab Liz Armstrong.
I love all the downloads Liz has so as soon as I saw theses I knew immediately what I wanted to do with them.I used the sentiments to dress the oustide and the inside of my card,I created a box for my gift and complineted my giftwith a matching bow and tag!Perfect for those little gifts we need to send!

I am one lucky girlie I say!

She creates the most fabulous digital designs.I was spoilt for choice.I mean

really my photo`s wont ever be the same again!I have a tonne of photo`s just stored on my computer doing nothing so instead of having them just stored on there I decided to pretty a few up.and I love it.So all my photo`s will be prettied up from now on.

Not only are they great for prettying your photo`s up but the designs are beautiful when printed out to create cards too.Great for all you cardmakers!

I did some cards but I would like to share with you all later.

Guys don't be put off doing digi I mean come on if I can do I am sure you can all do it.

Hydrangeas Papers , adding a few punched butterfly`s,some flowers added diamonds .twine and curling ribbons and tiny blooming sentiment to finish.

I did add sweets and chocolates but forgot to photo them before I sealed the bag!!:) x

Hi everyone well I hope the weather is treating you all a lot better than it`s treating us here on Walney Island today!!Seriously we have gale force winds and it`s freezing!!More like late October weather!!!Ideal for staying indoors and crafting and thats just what I have been doing.I have been creating using the beautiful new hydrangeas papers and tiny blooming sentiments to compliment my cards.I absolutely love them.They are perfect for any occasion,making them so versatile along with a beautiful colour palette I am sure you will love them too.If you would like to see even more beautiful Inspiration grab a cuppa sit relax and digest the beautifulness on Liz`s Blog here. `Bitter`` Sweet`...

Hi Everyone Hope your all well.I do have lots of cards and creations to share with you all as this week.But today I would like to share a few cards from lots that I have been busy with in the last couple of days.My first card sadly had to be made for a friend who`s husband tragically passed away.He was only 46.My heart break`s for the family.It`s so sad when someone has had enough of life.May he be in Peace now.My thoughts and prayers are with them all.I used the new Hydrangeas Paper downloads for this and all the cards I showcase today.The new papers come in white in cream and in double cream background in both the negative & positive designs along with a plain matching colour to suit each of the beautiful colour palletes.Perfect.I love them .The very fabulous Liz has created some beautiful things with them full of Inspiration which you can see at PINK PETTICOAT here if you wish.

I print the plain matching colour silver from the colour palette directly onto one side of my card stock and stone on the inside part and add a punched out border to both edges.I decorated the front using those pretty hydrangeas papers using the silver on white.I used the beautiful Dandelion Wisp`s stamps as my main focal part of the card .Simple yet effective which is just right at this time.I add a few simple pearls white ribbon and handmade ribbon flower to complete for

A Little Hug.Gift Set

Hi Everyone hope your all well. Recently our daughter gave birth to our beautiful new baby Granddaughter and of received lots of gifts and things for lots of people.It`s always nice to send Thank you cards and of course just like when there`s a Weddings or any Occasion for that matter there is usually a lot of Thank you`s to do.Being a card maker myself I like to create them making them pretty ,cost effective and quick.So what better way than to create a whole little production line of cards using very limited supplies.Of course they can be changed to suit your needs.Different embellishments can be used as you wish also.You could be whipping these up yourself in no time.

Here is my Set

For me these are a dream to make.

Just what we all want when there are lots to be done!

Here is a quick easy tutorial showing you how you can create four very easy pretty cards using just 2 A4 Pieces of card 2 A4 Pieces of paper a few small flowers diamonds and downloads which are not only cost effective and easy to use but are very on trend too.

Let me share with you all.

Gather your Materials.I used supplies:

Ultimate Score Board Crafters Companion.

2 A4 Pieces of Paper

2 A4 Pieces of card stock.

Cherry Papers.Little Hugs Images.Sentiments all from PINK PETTICOAT.here.

Glue. 3d foam pads. diamonds. flowers.

Prepare your cards.

Take one A4 piece of card.

Place length ways in your cutter and cut four strips each measuring

2 3/4" x 8" continue along the width of your card until you reach the the end.

You should get four strips from an A4 piece with a tiny piece left over.Now score all four cards pieces in half. You now have your four card bases ready to be dressed. Once you have prepared all your cards you need to print out your two pieces of A4 papers so you can prepare your envelopes. I used Cherry Papers for mine in blossom.

Print your images and sentiments with your other A4 piece of card.I used:

Little Hugs Images

Sentiments.

Prepare your envelopes using your A4 Paper cut out four squares measuring 14cm x 14cm.
(keep your spare pieces of paper for decorating your cards later)

Score each piece of paper using your Ultimate Score Board using the

A1 SCORE LINES WIDTH WAYS AND THE B SCORELINES LONGWAYS AS SHOWN IN THE PHOTO.

Fold in BOTH A 1 SCORED lines to meet in the middle . Glue along both A1 edges then fold the bottom along scored line B and adhere together to form your envelope.

You now have your envelope ready for your card to sit in.

Cut your images ready to dress your card and add 3d foam pads to the back of your images Cut and add a strip of left over paper using your glue to adhere it to the centre of the card,Remove backs from foam pads and add your image,

Cut out and glue on your sentiment then add a small diamond and flower to finish.
You now have your card ready to sit in your finished envelope.

Carry on and repeat this process with the other three prepared cards and envelopes.

You now have a matching set I think these would make great gift sets to send to friends too.
Here`s another card from a set I made using left over `Vintage Rose`papers and Little Hugs images and sentiments to create my paper piecing technique .I add a little bakers twine to finish.I drew my Inspiration from this weeks

My little Robin friend...

Hi Everyone:)Hope everyone is well.The lurgies are doing the rounds here at the moment.
Anyways with the weather so temperamental it isn't surprising really!!It`s really cold this evening who knows it could be roasting tomorrow.?I was stood in the garden today watching and feeding the birds when I thought I heard a `Robin` tweet..Well for those who like to watch the birds I am def one of those.I know most of the more common garden birds and often take note of when they visit and usually recognise the different tweets.In the winter I go in the garden and feed the birds.One little robin came right up to my feet most days when I went out during last winter!!!!You get me?Here he is. Well of course I haven't seen him/her all summer until today I am sure it was my little robin friend I heard tweeting..crazy I know Hugh!!!I was rather exited that he was back already!

Anyways I told my hubby & Mason cos he`s been at ours( a little poorly man today)

"I am sure I heard a Robin tweet"

Hubby answered"Hm "Yes" love"....you know how it goes.

Mason answered " Maybe he missed you Grandma" aw I was so excited to think that .

Well low and behold later on my little Robin appeared on the wall.

Now that's a sure sign of autumn to me?Hm maybe he did miss me eh?Don't know about anyone else but if anyone else has spot any robins I would love to know.

Hello Everyone,hope your all well.Little Miss Darsey is settling into her new home very nicely !!Mason and Freya are delighted and being very good with their new baby sister which leads me to `Thank` each and every one of you that left mail and messages or sent cards of well wishes on her recent birth.

Seriously I cant thank each one personally but I truly feel blessed to have so many people that care:):):) Which I have to say I have lots of thank you cards to create for people..midwife Dr`s nurses etc....and lots to create for friends but for now I will share a few of those very quick and easy productive cards I created for friends to give to.They are so easy that I created 25!!! in about two hours!using

Hello Everyone,hope you are all well.Well I think I can explain for the poor lack of Blogging.I am excited to share with you all that our daughter gave birth to a beautiful baby girl on

Friday 12Th August,Darsey weighing 7 1lb 5oz.So things have been quite crazy here at the moment for us:)all in a very pleasing way though:)Mother and baby are both well.Well we are all delighted for them as she is a very Welcome beautiful sister for Mason and Freya.Oh Mason and Freya are absolutely besotted with her:)They are two very willing helpers indeed.Their family is complete now:) I feel so blessed to have such beautiful children in my life..Of course I know you understand the lack of blogging now!!!also why my mojo has been all over the place lately.Anyways I cannot share photo`s of her yet as all the family members haven't met her so as soon as they do I will share photos of her with you all. For those of you not aware of Bags of Love let me share a little about them HERE
I wanted a photo to keep of our recent visit to Cyprus and couldn't think of a better way than to have one print than on PHOTO CANVAS so I could display it in my Craft room as a reminder of our happy time away.Bags of Love is the perfect place for this. All to often now days we use our digital cameras ,take our photos upload them on our computers and never really print or do anything with them do we?Well we can do something special with them.All it takes is one photo to look at to remind of us lots of happy times.

When we went away I took my pocket camera nothing flash and snapped like 1000 photo`s I mean It is nice to have them stored to look back on but I don't really want to go trawling through 100`s of photos each time I want to look back. I decided to choose one photo nothing formal to have print on Canvas and display on my craft room side that I can look at it and be sparked of lot`s of happy memories from our holiday.

My first card was created for my nephews wife and was made last minute so sorry for the blown out look of my photography.I hadn't taken a photo and had to give her it so I grabbed my camera and just clicked away not remembering to change the settings on my camera!!!

I have been practicing my light sources since I want to understand the full workings and capabilities of it.I haven't had my Canon 5d that long so I need to gain a better understanding of how it works I know I want a new 50mm1.4 lens already!but that Will be some time off .So for now Ill just keep practicing.Crikey are you still with me sorry about that I just go way off topic and forget what I was doing in the first place so I hope you all stayed with me through that!!lol...

Hello Everyone just want to share a Book I created as a Keepsake from Freya`s second birthday.I had lots of fun creating this and hope she will treasure it in Years to come.I used my NEW found products from

LETRASET Safmat self adheshive Printing paper

Letratac repositonable adhesive paper Have you seen these products?Well for those of you who have heard of LETRASET they are already well know in the industry for their famous PROMARKERS and PENS but they do some great printing papers which I highly recommend them to you all.I love what a wonderful addition to my crafting goods these make.The SAFMAT self adhesive printing paper is simply perfect for adding your own personalised text photos greetings logos and the list goes on to any of your projects.It comes see through on a backed sheet of paper supported by an A4 piece of card stock(which I even used to create the front and back of my book!!all you need to do is pop it in your printer open any computer programme you have and start designing your own text etc...You can stick it to almost anything giving it a transparent background which is nice when added to papers photo`s and even the pins I add to my page looked fab I thought.When it`s print out all you need to do is cut around the portions you need and add them to your creations!Where can you buy personalised see through self adhesive paper with your own personal text and greetings?not at any shops I know ladies...It`s just perfect and I loved adding all those little personal touches to Freya`s pages.I used the LETRATAC repositonable adhesive to glue down all those photo`s and fiddly little cut out things that our glue just does not reach..it`s easy to use and repositonable too,so if I decide I don't like my LO I can soon change all that !another fabulous addition to my crafting box.If you would like to see more projects and ideas I am sure you can check them out here if you wish to.I used my fabulous Gift fromSimply Create...Crate Paper Kit`Neighbourhood Collection` to create my album pages.Lots of ribbons ,buttons, beads ,bakers twine, flowers,tags,large heart pin, small flower pins,glitters,and bits of this and that!

Right I hope your all sitting comfortable for my post.

`Voila

LETS BEGIN.

Open your computor programme, create a new A4 Page. SIZE : 210 mm x297 mm.

Or fill an A4 piece of paper with your designs,they will fill your printing paper out perfectly.
I use CS4 but any programme will do.Microsoft Word, & PowerPoint even.

Pop a sheet of SAFMAT self adhesive printing paper in your printer and print.
The sheets come in A4 size.(Just make sure you don't print on the waxy side) Then print all your photo`s ready to add to your book. To create the front and back pages of your book.
Cut two pieces of thick card to measure 5 1/2" x 8" Score then punch holes along the end about an inch from the width end edges of your covers and about 1 " apart so your ribbon will thread through and hold your book together.Use your bind it all if you have one.I don't have one and find they work just as good with the ribbons. Now cut out as many pages you need for your book,do the same measurements as your front and back cover for your pages punching your holes evenly to match the front and back covers.Then start arranging your photo`s and embellishments where you think you want them to be placed before glueing and sticking in their final place.

When your happy with your decision start by sticking your photo`s into position .I used my LETRATAC repositonable adhesive,which comes with a small tool for you to apply your pieces you want.It comes with full easy to read instructions to follow.It takes three easy steps.

Then start by cutting out those home created designs from your SAFMAT printed designs you created and add them to your pages too...

When complete hold all the pages together,align your holes up and thread with ribbons. An up close and personal of one of the pages, dont they look great with those printed SAFMAT adhesive text on.I love how I can cover only a portion of the photo or the papers.

I just want to share with you all just some of the flowers and tags I created for my Father today.

Not only is it Fathers Day but it would have been his B`day too,So these are for you Dad with all our love....I print my larger image using Big Fella Collections from HERE & print out my own verses using my LETRATAC SAFMAT self adhesive PRINTING PAPER(Which I ♥) so easy and versatile.Pop in the printer create your designs then transfer to your desired design and `Voila`I love the fact I can pop the tags on the flowers and not worry if it rains whilst they are at the cemetry!!!I usually laminate them but this way I dont have too.the text is transparent and waterproof ! sortedI say:)

Hi Everyone.Hope your all well.Just want to share a few photo`s from our Freyas recent Second Birthday,which was on Friday.I really cant believe it`s two Years already since our little Loolibell was born.I am actually in the midst of creating a Keepsake Book for her to keep for when she is older.I think it`s nice to create one for each Year of their Birthdays.So nice to be able to look back and see how much we changed,plus keeping all those fond chilhood memories close to us is special I think.I have been using my new LETRESET TAC and LETRESET SAFMAT SELF ADHESIVE FILM to help me dress and stick down all those little bits and pieces that are tricky and too darn fiddly to glue on those projects!!!!.I will be sharing a few tips and ideas for you all with the book I am creating.Plus a few ideas for what you can use them with....Not just mini books,cards scrap pages and altered items are included too.Since its a new found crafting product which I love and think you will all love it too I cant wait...Until then a few photo`s from Freya`s day for now

Hi Guys:) Hope your all safe and well.Well I am back from my break to Ayia Napa Cyprus!!!!I survived the flight and everything..lol...What a fabulous time I had with my Mother and husband,,,just what the doctor ordered..I must say it was fabulous to go revistit with our Mother,My father and her used to spend most of thier time in Cyprus and had planned to move there after Dads retirement from the Merchant Navy but sadly he became to ill and passed away in January.So very sadly that never happened:(It was nice for us to go and let Mam recindle some of those precious memories.It will hold a special place for me always.I do have a few photos to share later with you all but for now I just want to thank those of you who visit my Blog and left sweet comments whilst I was away.

A Book For My Notes....Sorry for the lack of blogging.

Hello Everyone,I`v had this post sat on my computor waiting to be posted but havent had much mojo for blogging,so I would like to apologise to you all for the lack of blogging lately,and share my little book with you all.

Well I love creating books full of this and that!Things that are left over in your craft space make these an ideal keepsake.

We all have those left over ribbons ,and bits of pieces that we keep

Well I love using them up and creating little books ,plus they look nicer sat on my craft room side than a plain old note pad!!!!

So here is a mini note book I created with all those left over things:

fill with lots of papers,along with a bit of this and that

Add pages for your friends b`days.

and make little pockets using brown paper using Cupcake Images ready too.

fill with snipitts of your favourite recipies.

Hello EveryoneI want to share a card that I created with the new Qwerky Qwerty images and sentiments!Arnt they delicious!!Yes just my type indeed.I created this card for Valentines,of course which was how long ago!!but they dont just have to be for Valentines because when you see them you will see they are suitable for lots of creations and occassions.If you would like to see them you can see them HERE.

When I saw the colours over on Mona`s Blog for this weeks Challenge..hmm I gotta admit I was a bit miffed????

Kraft colour...no problem..

Orange & Lemons`only come together as a song to me!!!

Remember singing that song as a child anyone?

I was definately Challenged beyond my comfort zone here???

I mean I do love the colours but tend to stick to colours I seem to lend my hand to best in my card making.

I would probably never put these two colours together.

Hi Ladies a bit of a late posting for me,late as in Evening I mean.but actually thats quite the norm for me.

I created a Note Book for a friend,as I have some gifts to get posted on Monday and I always think it`s nice to pop a little piece of me in there! all Handmade of course.Well I love creating these little mini pads they are ideal for little gifts and the added bonus I get to use all those little bits of this and that that just get left over time and time again!you know what I mean dont you ladies? Well since I just created it now!! Yes I am a night crafter I thought I would photo it and use it for a couple of Challenges.

Please forgive me if my photo skills are a bit hmm iffy lately!

I have to confess I did get a new camera!and there shouldnt really be any excuses but thats my excuse anyways..lol...Yes it`s a really fabulous one and a nice new lens and flashgun!,and I havent really had any time to get aquained with it properly yet!!!

I am at the learning stage at the moment!!! I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it!!!

`Spring Wishes`....Two cards for a couple of Challenges...

Hi Everyone I actually did these two cards for the
Less Is More Week # 3`Spring`Challenge but never had five mins to get it up and posted ,so now I have 5mins I would like to share them with you anyways ladies.
I am Inspired by the ladies at
The City Crafter Blog `Nothing at all`
Colour q Challenge #73:
Moxie Fab World `Putting on the Spritz`
I print my flower images( using the `spring wishes` collections) directly onto my pre printed card using the ocean blue colour from the gingham collection both from HERE and both collections from the fabulous Liz at PINKPETTICOAT..Then I spritz over the cards using my glimmermists ,and coloured with PROMARKERS and Sakura Glaze pens .adding a bit of glamourdust to glitz them up and `Voila`
I had to totaly get my thinking cap on for this one laDies!!!I usually like to add lots and lots to my cards sometimes never knowing when to stop!!!lol.... so quite challenging for me:)x

I took the above photo when the card was still wet so notice the card has a bend in it?This usually happens after you spray your card butLadies this is easily solved when the whole card is dry place it between two pieces of white paper and sit between a few heavy books for the Evening.It will be flat by the morning I can assure you! Sorry its short and sweet ladies,Thankyou for all your Inspiration I hope to catch up wth you all soon

Just a `Material Girl`...

Hi Everyone:) Hope your all well.Any signs of spring yet?Not here it`s cold damp and miserable!!I hate it,it plays havoc with my bones!!Grrr...well today I would like to share a card and a little box I created with the Modern Girl images & sentiments!!which I love!!! sew much!I know I always have lots of cards to create,and these are perfect for all card recievers,but sometimes I think it`s nice to pop a little keepsake gift in with it.Nothing extravagant just something related to crafting and all `HAND MADE`I thought how about a little box full of little bits and pieces!I know us crafters would use.You know the ones?Yep,plus what a great way to store those pins!!I dont know about you but if I dont put them in a box to post I have to wrap them fifty....zillion times to make sure they are safe in their package dont want them pricking everyone..plus the little bobbins in this collection are fabulous print onto cardstock ,ready to wrap those bits of twine or ribbons,even threads ,whatever you wish ladies:)Anyhows enough rambling from me I think you get me dont you?

Hello Everyone:) Hope your all well today.

I would like to share a card created for the PINKPETTICOAT BLOG using those beautiful new PERFECT Papers collection.

I love these collections they are just that `perfect` for all those cards,elegant sophisticated , very classy with a gorgeous colour pallette to suit everyones needs.!!!

Since I have lots of thankyou cards to create they team up beautifuly with those

sentiment ribbons which you can see HERE if you wish to see them.

I used the beautiful washed rose paper a simple sentiment a few handmade ribbon flowers , a little stitching a little ribbon and pom pom trim and a few diamonds from WANNA SCRAP to finish off my card..
